Our 1-week overnight camp will be held at the Pocono Plateau Camp & Retreat Center, which is located on 750 wooded acres with two lakes in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania.  Pocono Plateau is a lakefront property with access to swimming, canoeing, fishing, ziplining, archery, hundreds of acres of hiking, outdoor sports, and a petting zoo!

During this immersive week, kids will engage in a series of “Story of Self” workshops, which will culminate in a Family Night & Dinner featuring performances by campers and local South Asian musicians and artists. In addition, the week will feature a speaker series, where kids will have the opportunity to speak first-hand with South Asian journalists, artists, local politicians, authors, and successful entrepreneurs.

To further enrich our campers’ experience, we will also be offering a number of cultural immersion sessions, including: Bharatnatyam, Ayurveda, yoga, Madhubani painting, cricket, badminton, and desi card game tournaments! And of course, no camp would be complete without campfires with s’mores!
